Role Summary:

The Global Aero Commercial Development Director will lead development of new market opportunities for Aero derivative business segment; work with customers to develop the deals / projects; and work with regional commercial team to win new orders / work on global partnership landscape and structure special transactions.

Essential Responsibilities:

As the Global Aero Commercial Development Director, you will:

  • Lead development of new market opportunities for Aero derivative business segment

  • Develop Economic Value proposition for our products to position them versus competition

  • Customize our value proposition to suit to specific markets / customer segments to develop early proposals for customers

  • Work with commercial operations to put budgetary proposals to customers

  • Work with customers to develop the deals / projects and work with regional commercial team to convert these budgetary proposals into firm proposals

  • Support regional commercial team in technical evaluation of different deals and commercial closure for orders

  • Interface with Product management and Application engineering teams to develop playbook to monetize our differentiated product offering versus competition

  • Work on global partnership landscape and structure special transactions

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college (OR Master's Degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience)

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience

Desired Characteristics:

  • Prior Power experience in Supply chain, Commercial, Product Management or Finance

  • Strong project management skills with ability to drive closure and deliver results for the business

  • Prior experience in Corporate Audit staff

  • Ability to work through matrix organization
