What you’ll be doing…

The GSI Partner Marketing Manager is key to Tableau’s partner marketing strategy as part of the Global Partner Marketing Organization. The individual in this role is responsible for growing the business of top Tableau’s GSI partners through strategic planning, executing, and landing impactful outcome based powerful Go-To-Market (GTM) campaigns aligned.

  • Build jointly crafted demand generation programs and industry execution Go To Market plans that meets both the partner and Tableau business priorities, in alignment with expected business outcomes

  • Execute demand generation programs and Industry GTM plans and campaigns by leveraging global and local engines, achieve targets ensuring intended impact on key business goals.

  • Identify and assign budget to GTM plans, and Industry execution .

  • Leverage global and local investment programs to drive marketing executions through standardized GTM services for scale.

  • Track marketing and sales qualified leads and reach results from GTM campaign deliverables, including but not limited to assessments, workshops, paid media and customer and partner events

  • Focus on marketing programs that lead to customer satisfaction and engagement.

  • Co-develop partner-centric service launches and marketing campaigns

  • Provide ongoing communication of partner marketing activities and results to internal stakeholders

This role collaborates with Product Marketing, Business Development, Partner managers, Industry and field marketing, PR, Regional leaders, and Creative to develop and communicate key stories through all partner touch points. You will be involved in projects from inception through delivery and be a key part in delivering high-quality engagements to intelligently manage and grow our business.

  • Contribute insights into our different regional businesses.

  • Build awareness of partner business and success stories..

Who you are ...

5+ years of experience channel marketing, partner channel development, business development, alliance management, through partner marketing in the technology industry

Experience with technology platforms and solutions with a reasonable level of technical understanding.

Experience of managing virtual teams across functions and geographies:

Inclusive and collaborative – driving teamwork and cross-team alignment.

Strong partner relationship management and solution development mentality.

Strong executive presence including communication and presentation skills with a high degree of comfort to large and small audiences.

Problem solving mentality leveraging internal and/or external resources, conflict resolution, and follow through with partners.

Bachelor’s degree required (Sales, Marketing, Business Operations) or equivalent experience; MBA desired.

For Colorado-based roles: Minimum annual salary of $122,900. You may also be entitled to receive incentive compensation and benefits.
