JOB PURPOSE

Global Transform and Enable Supply Chain Director responsible for driving and implementing supply chain transformation and change within GWS. Key role in working and supporting across Line of Business (LoB) and facilitating support from One CBREsupply chain to ensure CBRE supply chain supports GWS goals and objectives including growth, market differentiation and transformational cost savings. Responsible for implementation of GWS supply chain transformation programs deployed globally, regionally, and locally with focus on cross line of business programs, governance, and delivery of benefits. Provide strategic leadership for GWS supply chain maturity improvement for each country, support crossline of business joint programs. GWS supply chain lead on GWS COO cost transformation initiatives – leading supply chain specific initiatives, supporting and driving cross functional initiatives which have significant supply chain element. Responsible to scope, develop, implement, train and report on the outcome of each GWS supply chain transformation initiatives including cost savings, value for money, innovation, service quality, sustainability, diversity, governance, and compliance for CBRE and customers.

KEY OBJECTIVES OF THE ROLE

  • Support specific GWS and GWS COO transformational priorities including leading, designing, and implementing solutions working across line of business and with multiple business stakeholders in and outside of GWS. Priorities set by business – including supporting M&A, new product areas, specific Divisions, other emerging initiatives.

  • Lead implementation of GWS supply chain & CBRE supply chain transformation program. Focus on driving change and realizing tangible value and supporting multiple transformation workstreams. Ensure programs are developed and implemented considering global, regional, and local and account perspectives and are in-line with CBRE core ‘RISE’ values.

  • Support key GWS cost saving initiatives including support CBRE GWS ‘Move Up’ Program, in-direct spend opportunities, GWS transformation cost saving initiatives

  • Lead, design and implement specific supply chain transformational initiatives which across GWS Lines of Business (GWS Enterprise, GWS Local and Project Management).Tasks include identifying need, scoping requirement, developing business case, creating programs, governance, design playbooks and training to enable each LoB to realise the benefits of each program in efficient and frictionless manner.

  • Design and oversee maturity improvement model and internal Governance for regional and country Joint Annual Supply Chain Plans focused on ensuring supply chain requirements for each Line of Business are identified and met through aligned support from One CBRE supply chain.

· Develop & deliver tailored training programs for Transformation Initiatives (Joint Planning, Supply Chain Maturity Initiative, ‘Move Up’, plus specific Programs) to GWS supply chain and business teams and develop/improve best-practice tools and drive their adoption in the business.

  • Actively promote each element of the transformational programme to supply chain, CBRE departments and where appropriate customers and partners in globally consistent manner tailoring locally as appropriate to encourage use and option of the transformation and promote the outcomes.

  • ·Manage and develop GWS Transform and Enable Team supporting each Line of Business – managing directly supply chain roles as well as matrix for other functions as required

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience of providing strategic leadership and direction and/or senior supply chain role within a large and complex organisation

  • Proven capability of effectively organising, motivating and developing people in a complex, matrix-managed organisation

  • -depth knowledge of Supply chain and procurement processes, relevant legislation, and leading practices with significant experience in a senior procurement role.

  • Experience working with and influencing a broad range of stakeholders – customers, supplier, internal and at multiple levels including Executives.

  • Experience of establishing and running Programs including governance.

  • Evidence of delivering significant financial and non-financial benefits to a commercial organisation.

  • Strong negotiation skills, strong contractual and commercial competence

  • Strong commercial acumen including negotiation skills and a proven track record of identifying and delivering substantial savings.

  • Experience of leading, negotiating and managing complex supplier agreements.

  • Proven capability of exceptional supplier relationship management with range of supplier organisations – Global, Regional and Local suppliers.

  • Proven ability to develop suppliers through continuous improvement and innovation (better ways of working), utilising wide range of management and performance improvement tools & techniques

  • Category Management tools and techniques

  • Financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting

  • Proven capability of effectively managing direct reports with range of skills and indirect reports, especially leading and working with cross-functional teams.

  • The ability to work with and influence a broad range of customers, stakeholders and supplier staff at all levels including executives.

  • Customer focused and with communication skills – written, oral – comfortable presenting to small, large audiences.

  • Comfortable with complexity and experienced in managing change

This position may be performed remotely anywhere within the United States except the State of Colorado.
