This requires rethinking how we work together, and we need an experienced, creative research leader who can help us make sense of where we are, identify risks before they become problems, and help us take a data-driven approach to building the future of work at Facebook. The Head of Future of Work Research will successfully partner with their People Analytics peer teams and our Future of Work team in guiding and managing Research, Data Solutions and Workforce Strategy to support the future of work. In addition, the leader will establish deep working relationships with partners across the People team and the business.

Required Skills:

  1. Partner closely with Remote/Hybrid and other people program owners, UX researchers and product teams to understand and shape the evolving employee experience and drive organizational effectiveness

  2. Provide thought leadership on organizational effectiveness and future of work topics including remote, hybrid, digitization, automation, teams, work and product design, etc.

  3. Develop relationships with and facilitate stakeholders to identify and align on problem statements, priorities and research plans

  4. Lead, manage and develop team of people analytics experts to develop a portfolio of prioritized research projects and to scope, execute, analyze, report, story tell and embed analytics into program strategies at the individual project level

  5. Direct and advise analytics/science teams on qualitative and quantitative methods to define, predict, prescribe solutions

  6. Collaborate closely with other research teams across People Analytics and Product functions

  7. Translate and synthesize analytics into practical insights and recommendations to be consumed by a variety of organizational and executive stakeholders

  8. Develop trusted advisor relationships with business and HR leaders to influence the people strategies and drive to decisions in a complex, rapidly evolving environment

  9. Act as a member of the People Program Analytics team as part of the broad People Analytics & Workforce Strategies Team

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 8+ years of experience sophisticated social sciences research

  2. Demonstrated experience navigating a fast paced, dynamic working environment

  3. Demonstrated track record of dealing with very sensitive data, and exercising proven judgment and discretion

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience working in the technology industry

  2. PhD/MA/MS in a social science discipline
