    JOB SUMMARY: (overview of job): Under the direction of the Director of APEX of St Peters, with minimal supervision, the Registered Respiratory Therapist, upon physician orders, set-up and operates various types of respiratory equipment and delivers physician - prescribed therapy.

    Promotes and ensures continuity in the quality of respiratory care administered by APEX of St Peters. Performs other duties as assigned.

    KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE : Three years clinical experience in an acute care hospital. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred. Two years experience in a Home care setting preferred. Maintain current CPR certification.

    EDUCATION: Registered Respiratory Therapist credential with the National Board of Respiratory Care.

    LICENSE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY: Current license with the State of Montana as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. Credentialed by the NBRC as Registered Respiratory Therapist.

    Aptitudes: * Demonstrate ability to effectively and creatively solve problems without immediate supervision.
