Implementation Specialist

Overview of the position

The Implementation Specialist is responsible for the implementation and integration of Change Healthcare’s Cardiology solutions with other Change Healthcare and 3rd party products. These integrations include HL7 ADT, Orders, Results, XML, DICOM worklist as well as customization with reports. This includes installing and configuring interfaces and software to ensure that system performance is in accordance with specifications for optimal patient care and workflow as well as regulatory requirements.

What will I be responsible for in this job?

  • Implement and configure all purchased products and solutions in collaboration with the customer and Change Healthcare project team

  • Plan, coordinate and install interfaces in the customer environment using HL7 and XML standards

  • Analyze, and resolve technical problems that may occur during implementation and activation

  • Test and verify that the implemented system is error free and functional prior to delivery to the customer

  • Work closely with customers to design, and implement optimal CIS (Cardiology Information Systems) solutions

  • Responsible for onsite asset review included as part of the implementation and transition to the Support group

  • Perform Final Quality Assurance for finished systems as assigned in accordance with the Enterprise Imaging quality system

  • Customer Training on Cardiology solutions as needed

  • Mentor and train Change Healthcare Personnel as needed

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

  • Plan, configure, implement, and test all in scope Cardiology interfaces, and modifications to out of the box user interfaces and report templates

  • Collaborate with customer and Change Healthcare team to deliver final solution to meet customer needs

  • Resolve technical problems, analyze, and evaluate issues that may occur during implementation. Own issues and be the customer focal point through resolution as it transitions between support tiers

  • Perform Final Quality Assurance for finished systems as assigned in accordance with the Enterprise Imaging quality system

What are the requirements?

  • Minimum 5 years of IT experience implementing Information Systems (or related) experience building and configuring systems and interfaces as well as supporting both internal and external customers

  • Experience with a relational database environment

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science; Computer Technology Diploma or equivalent or related experience

  • Experience with a relational database environment

  • Experience with Windows based applications such as Word, Excel, InfoPath, and MS SQL

  • Experience with Medical Information standards (HL7, XML or DICOM) and Medical Information Systems is required

How much should I expect to travel?

25%Employees in roles that require travel will need to be able to qualify for a company credit card or be able to use their own personal credit card for travel expenses and submit for reimbursement.
