Job Description

Junior consulting position for those who are continuing to develop their expertise. Receives general instruction on routine work and detailed instruction on new projects or assignments.

As a member of a project team, follows standard practices and procedures to analyze situations/data and provide quality work products to deliver functional and technical solutions on applications and technology installations. Work involves some problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying relevant Oracle methodologies and practices. Implements Oracle products and technology in various industries to meet customer specifications.

1-3 years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Demonstrates competence in a minimum of one product or technology area. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

As an Integrated Technologies Consultant I, you will be responsible for providing consulting implementation services to our clients for Oracle Cerner ’s Clinical Imaging products. These products include ECG Management, Cardiovascular Image Management, Oracle Cerner Worklist Manager, and Oracle Cerner Radiology PACS and CAMM 7.

In this role, you will need a strong understanding of Linux system administration, database technologies, Windows servers and workstations, Networking, TCP/IP, WAN analysis etc. You will also gain knowledge of clinical imaging workflows and use those skills to support clients through project engagements in which these solutions will be implemented, upgraded, and maintained. You will work alongside senior technical architects and consult with clients on technical architecture decisions, and guide clients through interdependencies and decision impacts. You will perform technical troubleshooting and issue resolution and escalate issues to senior members of the team as appropriate.

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 4 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:

  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Business, Electrical Engineering, Health Care, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, Science, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience

  • Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position

  • Due to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Linux or other Unix based Operating Systems

  • Experience with database systems – preferably Oracle and/or Postgres

  • Experience working with DICOM, HL7, PACS/VNA etc.

  • Experience with technical troubleshooting

  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned

  • Willing to travel up to 100% as needed

  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations

  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
