JOB OVERVIEW –The IT Systems Analyst Supervisor at the Montana Department of Corrections is a strategic leader responsible for aligning IT systems with organizational objectives. This role involves collaborating with managers to analyze, design, and implement system enhancements while ensuring data integrity. Key responsibilities include conducting in-depth testing, researching new functionalities, and providing cost-benefit analyses for system upgrades. Additionally, the Supervisor oversees the installation and configuration of systems, manages a team of 6 employees, and handles personnel functions such as hiring, performance management, and discipline. The role also involves collaboration with vendors, budget management, and staying abreast of emerging technologies to recommend improvements. * * QUALIFICATIONS -Bachelor’s degree in an Information Technology or related field.Four years of relevant experience supporting business needs with IT solutions. Two years of relevant supervisory experience.
