State of Montana Legislative Research Analyst in Helena, Montana

Performs public policy research and analysis for legislative consideration. Develops area expertise and responds to information requests from legislators and the public. Drafts legislation, resolutions, and amendments. Performs project planning and management, including contract management, for interim studies. Coordinates administrative duties for legislative interim committees. Provides staff support in varied topic areas and in legislative process, procedures, and rules for standing committees during a legislative session. This is a non-partisan position.
