Pureview Health Center Licensed Practical Nurse in Helena, Montana
Responsibilities of this career opportunity include: Providing direct patient care and health care provider support under the direction of the Clinic Nurse Manager and Board of Nursing. Assisting clinic providers and team members with diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures. Administering medications, vaccines, and prescribed treatments. Conducting initial health interviews. Preparing patients for examination. Preparing and cleaning equipment, exam rooms and treatment rooms. Administering first aid. Performing routine laboratory procedures including venipuncture and CLIA waived tests. Maintaining clinical and patient records. Monitoring supplies and medications. Providing patient and family health counseling and education. Creating referrals and lab/diagnostic orders as prescribed by health care provider. Scheduling external diagnostics and procedures. Responding to inquiries from patients, pharmacies, and providers. Providing health counseling and education materials regarding preventive health and lifestyle modifications. Participating in clinic quality improvement activities and projects. May perform receptionist and clerical duties. May act as float nurse as assigned. Performing other duties as assigned.
