About the Role

The Manager, Global Planning role is a hybrid of traditional jobs in strategic planning, sales operations, finance, and analysis. This is a high performance team chartered with assisting the VP of Strategy & Business Operations in driving the business forward. This involves providing a mix of sound statistical analysis combined with practical data management development. Deliverables take the form of recommendations on sales coverage and investment prioritization. Operationally, the focus will be on Long Range Planning, Annual Planning, Quarterly Outlooks, Sales Headcount Management, Quota and Capacity Planning inclusive of formulating impactful recommendations. This person must feel comfortable interacting with senior management on a regular basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead sales target setting for each fiscal year; including the Sales Finance Plan, Distribution Quotas, Distribution hiring schedule

  • Lead the Long Range Planning (LRP) process; inclusive of the 5-year plan and the 1-year plan

  • Work cross-functionally to improve business processes and drive sales excellence

  • Lead ongoing analysis of business performance and present recommendations to senior management for strategic decision making and investment

  • Design and interpret key performance metrics and craft plans to address identified weaknesses

  • Build executive presentations, crafting the messages of sales and product leadership

  • Help drive rigorous sales execution and oversight, ensuring accurate sales planning and total transparency

Required Skills/Experience:

  • BS/BA required; MBA a plus, but not required

  • 5+ years of work experience in sales, sales operations or management consulting, with strong exposure to B2B go-to-market strategy

  • Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills; proven record to structure complex problems, develop solutions, and craft high-quality executive presentations

  • Very strong executive presence and engagement skills

  • Highly collaborative style with strong influence skills

  • Flexibility and ability to adjust on the fly to new demands; a sense of urgency

  • Experience with SQL (or similar analytical packages) a plus

For Colorado-based roles: Minimum annual salary of $99,200. You may also be entitled to receive bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits.
