Job Summary

Seeking a highly self-motivated and seasoned creative Marketing Specialist to join our top-performing national business development team. This position will be responsible for leading the writing, design and overall coordination of Industrial & Logistics (I&L) Services pursuits, includingproposals and presentations. This person will own the theme and design of larger, and smaller, pursuits – highlighting the CBRE brand and crafting unique solutions for clients at the point of sale. Working directlywith I&L Business Development team, this position will also coordinate with functional experts in technology, marketing, and other advisory services in preparation of complex client proposals and presentation submissions.

This highly relied upon position calls for a confident marketing professional who is strategic, brings creative & innovative concepts, acutely detail oriented, flexible, and collaborative. This professional will also share in some responsibilities for the creation and design of I&L national platform marketing materials.Must have an in-depth knowledge of graphic-design software and techniques and an extreme eye for coordinating fonts, colors, layouts and visual assets for all deliverables.This high-visibility position calls for an excellent strategic-thinking, writing, project management, analytical, and collaboration skills. The preferred candidate is self-directed and will have experience in a deadline driven environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead writing and design for I&L pursuits in partnership with I&L Business Development manager and team, owning final deliverables

  • Work alongside Marketing Director for pursuit resourcing, mood board preparations, design deliverables, final proofs and precision of all final materials

  • Responsible for oversight - ensuring security and integrity of all documentation, coordinating internal flow and review of all inputs, schedules, activities with cross functional business areas, and directing submission of the final deliverable

  • Create and own proposal and presentation design, interactive marketing and pitch materials for new business development and client-specific pursuits

  • Organize and manage team meetings interfacing with leadership and sales professionals, managing the entire design process, deliverables, and deadlines.

  • Apply professional graphic design principles to the creation of materials, documents, websites, and other graphic products.

  • Collaborate with internal clients to discuss and determine layout design and appropriate delivery method

  • Create original designs using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. Comfortable using all Microsoft products as well

  • Manage larger and more complex design projects to produce a finished product. Needs excellent leadership and project management skills, attention to detail and works well under pressure

  • Ability to work with I&L stakeholders, other designers, and marketing colleagues

  • Other duties may be assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

No formal supervisory of people, however, serves as lead on business development pursuit and projects, coordinating all tasks, content and ensuring deadlines are met. May coordinate and assign tasks to co-workers within business unit and/or project.


Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from four-year college or university and a minimum of four to six years of related experience and/or training. Experience in commercial real estate preferred.

Communication Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to internal clients. Ability to effectively present information.

Financial Knowledge

Requires no knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving severaloptions in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.

Other Skills and Abilities

Intermediate skills with various software programs such as Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to learn web publishing platform.

Scope of Responsibility

Decisions made with in-depth understanding and interpretation of procedures, company policies and business practices to achieve general results. Responsible for setting department deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause long-term impact to co-workers, supervisor, department and/or line of business.

Colorado Residents: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is $85,000 and the maximum salary for this position is $95,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
