As a Success Manager, you are passionate about helping nonprofit customers adopt Salesforce products and realize their full potential of the platform. You’ll use deep business, nonprofit and product knowledge to partner with customers in order to accelerate business value and drive return from their investment with Salesforce. Success Managers are aligned at key team member level, building and fostering positive relationships to help customers progress on their digital journey. Success Managers work directly with nonprofit organizations that can vary in segment, size, solution complexity and life cycle.

As a Marketing Cloud Success Manager, you would ideally have an understanding of marketing landscape: email marketing, paid advertising and marketing automation platforms in order to be able to relate to an audience of marketing focused nonprofit leaders.

The ideal Success Manager will possess both a marketing specialization and nonprofit skills that enable them to speak the customer language. You really enjoy presenting and engaging an audience. You are naturally curious about technology with a focus on understanding customers’ difficulties and business challenges. Using your experienced knowledge and communication skills you deliver value based outcomes for our customers.


  • Use our engagement based success methodology and partner with customer team members to understand their goals, assess their capabilities and provide recommendations to help them accelerate achievement of their business and technology objectives

  • Proactively identify risks to the customer achieving their stated business goals and work with the account team to build a risk mitigation plan

  • Produce and complete a comprehensive adoption path showing the current state, target future state with timeline, and an underlying enablement Plan.

  • Deliver business value and innovation to organizations we support by understanding their key business challenges and potential for growth

  • Work collaboratively with the account team, alliances, product, and others in order to help customers achieve their objectives.

  • Recommend additional Salesforce resources, offerings and advisory guides as needed to drive success

  • Help mitigate attrition, increase customer adoption and engagement, and improve overall business value.

  • Share your product and industry expertise and standard methodologies to help customers.

  • Share customer stories and use cases, showcasing the value and impact of Success Engagements.

  • Uncover customer challenges, identify risks to adoption and provide a tailored plan of action.

  • Continue to evolve technology and domain expertise through certifications and continuous learning.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

  • Six years helping customers to achieve business value or Marketing roles.

  • Shown ability to prioritize activities while performing effectively in a fast paced environment.

  • Solid understanding of marketing business processes and nonprofit strategy

  • Understanding of project management methodologies, business analysis, organizational change, user adoption, release management, and governance

  • Working knowledge of the overall Salesforce platform suite and applications.

  • Shown success leading customer-facing presentations and engagements

  • Able to handle objections, prioritize customer issues and collaborate with colleagues to optimally drive resolution

For Colorado-based roles: Minimum annual salary of $ 83,200 . You may also be entitled to receive bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits.
