Oracle Oracle Cerner Manager, Clinical Consulting in Helena, Montana

Job Description

This entry level manager position is responsible for a small unit within a given practice focused on a specific industry, product/service line, technology center, specialty area or region. Responsible for managing the three main pillars of a practice: people management, portfolio/delivery management and sales enablement.

As a first line management role, responsible for directing and reviewing the team’s work to achieve operational or functional targets or objectives with measurable contribution towards the achievement of immediate and short-term results for the team and department. Establish and communicate team goals that support and advance team and department objectives; establish metrics or other performance measures to track progress. Understand and explain policies, practices and procedures within immediate area of responsibility to stakeholders within and outside of the team. Identify, propose and lead team- and department-level quality and process improvement initiatives; participate and provide input on strategic initiatives at the department-level

Knowledge of product or expertise relevant to area of focus is required with 4+ years of relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications: Degree in respective clinical expertise (Nursing, Pharmacy, Clinical Studies, Informatics, Health Care or related field)Certification required based on area of focus: Registered Nurse - State Board, Pharmacist - State Board, Doctor of Osteopathy - State Board, Certified Exercise Physiologist - State Board. Responsibilities

Oracle Cerner has an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Clinical Consulting

As a Manager, Clinical Consulting you will lead, direct and review the team’s work to achieve operational or functional targets or objectives with significant contribution towards the achievement of immediate and short-term results for the team, department and organization. You will establish and communicate team or department goals that support and advance team, department and organization objectives; establish metrics or other performance measures to track progress. This role will allow you to influence diverse stakeholder groups and drive acceptance of policies, practices and procedures within broader area of responsibility. In scope for this role will be to identify, propose and lead team- and department-level quality and process improvement initiatives; lead or influence strategic initiatives at the department-level and provide input on strategic initiatives for the organization. You will deliver consistent and timely training, guidance and feedback to encourage success and promote associate growth through regular developmental conversations and identification of developmental opportunities. Finally, you will own decision-making for staffing and performance decisions for direct reports and manage one or more teams of associates

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 8 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:

  • At least 2 years licensed health care practice, clinical consulting and/or other clinical healthcare information technology (HCIT) work experience

  • At least 6 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education

  • Bachelor's degree in Clinical Studies, Health Care, Nursing, Medical Terminology, Science

  • Registered Nurse - State Board

  • Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position

  • Due to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen

Preferred Qualifications

  • People management, matrix management, project management or other indirect leadership work experience

Expectations

  • Must reside in or be willing to relocate to an already virtually approved location

  • Willing to travel [BN] 60 – 80% and as needed

  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations

  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position

  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned

This position offers a Remote working environment. Meaning you can live and work in your current geographical location and work primarily remote. There could be times you will be requested to travel and/or visit a Oracle Cerner office or client site
