Responsibilities: The Oracle North America Applications Sales Strategy and Business Development team is looking for a Sales Strategy & Business Development Specialist with experience in sales and business development for ERP/EPM/SCM applications. Your role will be to develop and execute sales strategy for assigned industries, enabling our Sales organizations through the orchestration of the surrounding ecosystem. As a Business Development strategist you will execute strategies and plans to successfully drive Oracle Cloud as the preferred customer selection. Provide account representatives with information on how the products address specific needs, and assists account representatives in using Oracle's products to leverage large revenue opportunities. Assist in articulating product message, competitive differentiators and business value. You will play a crucial role in ERP/EPM/SCM sales and contribute to our long-term business growth of Oracle North America Applications.
-Articulate the markets for assigned industries and leverage data to provide analysis to our Sales organizations
-Create and execute sales strategy and programs for assigned industries each year and report progress
-Orchestrate the ecosystem plan and delivery through go to market program launches and follow up events throughout the year
-Analyze data to inform and empower decision making and enable your sales teams
-Report to the Vice President Business Development and sales leaders (weekly/monthly/quarterly) program performance, pipeline creation and progression
-Stay up-to-date with new products/services and steps in the sales process.
-Proven work experience as a SaaS Business Development Representative, Client Partner/ Sales Director or similar role, or sales experience in either ERP, EPM or SCM applications including quota (field, inside, solution engineering), minimum of 8 years
-Must have knowledge and experience with ERP, EPM or SCM software (e.g. Oracle, Workday, SAP, Infor)
-Must have experience and knowledge in at least one of the following industry/verticals – Manufacturing.
-Advanced analytics, MS Excel and Powerpoint skills
-Understanding of sales performance metrics
-Excellent communication skills
-Ability to deliver engaging presentations
-Attention to detail
Acknowledged authority within the Corporation. Acts as a leader of large-scale company initiatives. Viewed by peers as a leader and top contributor and by line management as a key business partner. 8+ years of progressively increased responsibilities in sales or sales management. Marketing and business development experience preferred. Ability to determine strategy and tactical plans that deliver tangible results. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Ability to Travel as needed. BA/BS degree or equivalent, advanced degree highly desirable.
