Western Montana Mental Health Center Peer Support Specialist in Helena, Montana

Responsible for delivery of community based peer support services. Embrace, develop, and implement recovery based principals with homeless consumers, staff, agency, and the community.

Essential Job Responsibilities: Peer will provide duties as outlined in comprehensive treatment plan. Peer will provide services primarily within homeless community. Peer will provide services in a one on one and group setting. Peer will work closely with other community agencies providing services to the homeless.

Education & Experience: Must have direct knowledge and experiences with symptoms of mental illness and personal experience with receiving mental health services; experience and knowledge of homelessness preferred. Peer must be willing to work flexible hours, including evening and weekend. Equivalent of high school diploma or GED required. Peer must have drivers license, auto insurance, and ability to transport consumers.
