Zurich North America is looking for a Performance Analyst to work alongside the Head of Expense Management on key strategic projects that use expense data to drive effective strategic and operational decision-making. This role will work out of our Headquarters in Schaumburg, and is a great opportunity to sharpen problem-solving and influencing skills, while engaging with a variety of senior ZNA stakeholders. This role will also have the opportunity to partner with one of our Functions to provide timely expense reporting, forecasting and insights. We are open to remote work for the right candidate located any where within the U.S..
Key Accountabilities of the position include:
Building ZNA-level scenario analyses and communicating impact of plan sensitivities
Developing ExCo presentations, and synthesizing performance drivers and trends
Serving as trusted thought partner with Finance leadership on strategic, ZNA
Business Travel, as required
Extended Hours during Peak Periods, as required
Pass Applicable Exam/Licensing, as required
Regular Predictable Attendance Performance Management Accountabilities
Model behaviors that demonstrate commitment to corporate values.
Provide input into performance management discussions of project team members
Educate team members and business partners on area of technical expertise
Provide guidance and support for team members
Take action to manage own personal development and encourage others to do the same
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree and 4 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance areaOR
High School Diploma or Equivalent and 6 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance areaOR
Completion of Zurich Finance Development Program, including a Bachelors Degree and 2 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance areaOR
Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with 4 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area
Preferred Qualifications:
Insurance industry experience
Project management experience
CPA, CPCU, CFA or CTP
Strong Microsoft Office experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Compensation for roles at Zurich varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Zurich provides in good faith a reasonable range of compensation for roles. Candidates with salary expectations outside of the range are encouraged to apply, and will be considered based on experience, skill, and education. The salary provided is a nationwide market range and has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location where the position may be filled. The starting salary range for this position is $57,500.00 - $94,300.00.
