Oracle Principal Financial Analyst-OCI- Data Centers and Networking in Helena, Montana

Job Description

As a member of the Global Business Finance team, the Principal Finance Analyst– Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) you will provide financial support to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure through financial analysis, budgeting, planning & forecasting; to facilitate decision making and future business strategies. You will be responsible for all aspects of Cloud Infrastructure financial planning and business advisory


Main Responsibilities:

  • Embed deeply with engineering leaders and their teams and become their trusted advisor.

  • Own all Financial ROB activities (such as planning and budgeting cycles) in line with corporate and business requirements.

  • Participate and contribute to broader Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) to ensure data center and network investments are made at the right place, right time, and at the right size.

  • Develop scenario-based financial models in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

  • Link business strategy to financial reporting, KPIs, and goal setting.

  • Understand and influence investment decisions through detailed financial analysis.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years finance experience. MBA Preferred.

  • Excellent understanding of cloud and cloud Infrastructure (data centers and networking). Experience supporting engineering preferred.

  • Excellent communicator that can work across a wide range of audience (engineering, finance, supply chain, operations, etc.).

  • Result oriented. Ability to translate ideas into operational steps and follow through to closure.

  • Takes initiative to achieve value added results and ability to track the progress of multiple inquires and tasks effectively.

  • Excellent analytic skills, attention to detail. Ability to turn data into Insights.

  • Ability to thrive in an environment with ambiguity and change.

  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a cross-functional team.

  • Self-directed, proactive with ability to multi-task.

  • Energetic and positive attitude in the face of stress.

Hiring Range: from $87,000 to $178,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
