Job Description

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 10+ years of software engineering or related experience.

Responsibilities

What do we do?

Oracle Fusion Analytics is a pre-packaged analytical application offered to Oracle Fusion application executive level users. The release engineering team creates and maintains infrastructure for automated deployment of these solutions.

The development involves the state of the art technologies, like Spring, Spring Boot, Oracle Business Intelligence Suite Enterprise Edition, all on top of the robust Oracle Analytic Cloud platform, as well as automation using Python.

Expected Skills & Qualifications:

  • At a minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering

  • 10+ years of Software/Application development experience in relevant functional area.

  • Sound knowledge of J2EE architecture concepts

  • Programming skills – Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, Java, object oriented programming a must.

  • Knowledge of docker containers a must

  • Experience with Spring, Spring Boot, is preferred

  • Experience in building cloud solutions is preferred

  • Strong understanding of OLAP, dimensional modelling concepts with Business Intelligence Hands-on experience is preferred

  • Experience in Analytics products like OAC, Tableau, Microstrategy, Qlik, etc. is an advantage

  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to details

  • Able to write and communicate clearly and effectively is absolutely required.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the United States only

Hiring Range: from $94,200 to $223,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
