Facebook is looking for a Producer to join the Visual Systems team supporting the Facebook App. Our mission is to inspire and empower people by infusing our product experiences with creative and expressive design.This person will be responsible for leading the program and creative production strategy across several products within the Community Product Group. As an experienced Producer, you are comfortable collaborating and providing strategic inputs to designers in order to grow and evolve work from a product perspective. Additionally, you have deep experience working with a large number of cross functional partners and disciplines to develop products holistically.The ideal individual for this role has strong product sense, creative problem solving, and ability to connect dots. The successful candidate should have strong, focused experience in program strategy and production within a variety of mediums. Additionally, the Producer must be a clear communicator, comfortable with ambiguity, and have a proven track record to influence work cross functionally.
Own and drive program strategy and production lifecycle including forecasting, planning, scoping, budgeting, design reviews and delivery.
Provide strategic leadership and oversight to ICs and ensure the health of the team.
Communicate and drive communication into current projects, team utilization, program health and priorities to cross functional partners and leadership.
Prioritize competing needs with good reasoning and creative solutions.
Produce strong conceptual and expressive work that is engaging and reflects a cohesive visual style, voice, and tone.
Schedule, manage and address cross-functional feedback and stakeholder approvals.
Predict and/or identify roadblocks and obstacles, and proactively establish meetings or integration points between teams to address and resolve them.
Work in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment with multi-disciplinary teams.
5+ years of experience with program management and creative production across multiple mediums.
Experience in working and building products with design teams, cross functional partners, and product managers.
Presentation, interpersonal, and communication experience.
Experience managing ambiguity, and resilience in managing change.
Relevant understanding and appreciation of visual design processes and systems.
Proven experience leading a full design team with changing priorities and scopes of work.
- Formal or informal management experience.
