Product Support Representative
Overview Of Position
The Product Support Representative is responsible for assisting Change Healthcare customers with the resolution of advanced product questions related to an industry leading Change Healthcare Solution. Activities include ownership of requests, research, analysis, troubleshooting and customer communication necessary to deliver appropriate resolution to their inquiries. The position requires extensive interaction with Change Healthcare customers including insurance organizations, hospitals, and providers for the purpose of providing product usage or technical solutions.
The hours for this position can be as late as 10:30am-7:00 pm CT/Position will also be expected to help cover after hours support, evenings and weekends (about once per quarter.). This is an hourly position.
What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?
Responsible for responding to customer inquiries on product issues from email, calls, chats in a call center type environment
Recommends solutions to customer's application questions
Analyzes problems with software applications to identify problem area(s) and recommend corrective action
Works on advanced problems of diverse scope where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
What are the requirements needed for this position?
BS/BA degree or 2 years of relevant experience in lieu
1+ years product applications support experience
What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?
Advanced knowledge of HealthCare and IT industries. For example, industry history, key customers, competition, and regulatory environment
Knowledge of the interrelationship of Information Technology and Healthcare industries
Knowledge of the Payer/Provider environment
Understanding of HIPPA compliance regulations
Detailed knowledge of software support for customer applications
Project management experience
