DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Property Steward is responsible for handling all aspects of property management.
COMPLIANCE All company policies & procedures All applicable government regulations across property types All applicable lender regulations across property types
RESIDENT MANAGEMENT Ensure we are doing everything necessary to drive a high level of resident satisfaction Prepare & distribute resident notices Manage service ticket lifecycle, ensuring resident satisfaction at all times Perform unit walkthroughs & inspections Oversee and handle resident inquiries
PROPERTY MAINTENANCE Oversee all aspects of preventive as well as responsive property maintenance Complete property maintenance tasks (at least ? of the time in this position will be spent actually completing maintenance tasks) Manage vendors in the completion of some types of maintenance tasks Ensure work orders are created & being effectively managed for all maintenance that is being done and that needs to be done in the future
OFFICE MANAGEMENT Receipt payments & complete deposits Distribute/file all incoming mail Perform errands that assist daily functions Maintain office in neat & orderly condition at all times Continuously spearhead & the development & refinement of policy & procedure within the company to reflect industry best practices
PORTER DUTIES Periodic unit cleaning tasks Periodic common area cleaning tasks Periodic grounds cleaning tasks QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS AND LICENSES: Essential Overall Skills Cheerful presence and strong people skills Superior phone skills Dependable Professional Enthusiastic Good organizational skills and record keeping (attention to detail is critical) Good oral and written communication skills Self-starter who can work independently Technologically literate with strong computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other commonly used software
Essential Maintenance Skills Basic troubleshooting skills (appliances, A/C, furnace, etc.) Basic plumbing repair (sinks, bathtubs, etc.). Basic electrical troubleshooting & repair Basic drywall repair Door & trim replacement Painting
Beneficial Property management experience Montana Property Manager license Team leadership experience Sales experience
