State of Montana Right of Way Review Appraiser III (60055) in Helena, Montana

TheMontana Department of Transportationis recruiting for a Right of Way Appraisal Reviewer.This position serves as an Appraisal Reviewer for the Right of Way Bureau within the Engineering Division and serves as a field authority in conducting property appraisals to arrive at fair market value for property acquisitions. This includes all standard and specialized property appraisal types. This position reviews completed appraisal reports and approves just compensation due to landowners. (Note: Placement at this level requires education, experience, and licensure review by the Appraisal Section Supervisor, the Acquisition Manager, and final approval by the Right of Way Bureau Chief.) * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Construction Technology, or a closely related field of study. * Four (4) years of work experience in real estate appraisal. * Requires certification by the Montana Board of Real Estate Appraisers as a certified general real property appraiser. _Required Application Materials:_ * Proof of certifications * Supplemental Question:Give a detailed summary of your experience in conducting residential, commercial, and agricultural appraisals.
