Job Description

An experienced consulting professional who has an understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family. Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.

May act as the team lead on projects. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations. Participates in business development activities. Develops and configures detailed solutions for moderately complex projects.

5-7 years of experience relevant to this position including 2 years consulting experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Consultant, you will be part of a distributed analytics team tasked with guiding our client’s data strategy through the implementation and value add services using our Oracle Cerner solutions. You will identify workflow and process improvements and make recommendations to client and project leadership. You will drive cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders to identify and propose solution enhancements, workflow efficiencies and client relationship strategies. You will engage in the sales process to assist with accurate quoting of contractual scope and hours. You will also contribute to organizational initiatives.

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 8 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:

  • At least 2 years Healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support and/or other client-facing or information technology (IT) solution work experience

  • At least 6 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education

Preferred Qualifications

  • Reporting Tool (ex/ SAP Business Objects) and/or SQL experience ; Experience with Oracle Cerner Soarian Financials and/or Oracle Cerner Patient Accounting

Expectations

  • Willing to travel up to 60% as needed

  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations

  • work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position

  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
