Leads process improvement initiatives through the disciplined use of measurements, accountability, analysis and discussion of process alternatives in order to arrive at best practices.
Plans, manages, and controls the activities of a team that provides operational support for a business segment, group or team. Brings expertise or identifies subject matter experts in support of multi-functional efforts in process improvement, data capture and analysis, infrastructure support, tool ownership and compliance with procedures, etc. Advises business groups by providing strategic direction to initiative prioritization, integration and resource application. Ensures that policies and procedures align with corporate vision. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel ensuring efficient operation of the function.
Directs and ensures the implementation of operational policies through subordinate managers. Interacts internally and externally with executive management; negotiation of difficult matters to influence policy. Functional expertise and broad company knowledge. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.

As a leader in our Federal Organization Optimization Service Line, you will oversee the delivery of solutions and services focused on strategies to engage, educate, and enable users in achieving the success of healthcare information technology transformation goals of Federal clients. Your work will center on helping client organizations adopt healthcare information technology to advance organizational performance and, ultimately, the delivery of patient care. You will play a key leadership role as part of an established multi-disciplinary team. You will have an entrepreneurial, client-services-centric mindset and help to develop and deliver best-in-class consultancy services in a dynamic and complex environment. You will bring extensive domain acumen, innovation expertise, and business development expertise. You will be responsible for setting and overseeing the execution of all aspects of client user experience strategy inclusive of organizational change management, learning, human capital, strategic communications, value realization, and data-driven continuous improvement efforts and provide executive oversight to the delivery and performance of Organization Optimization workstreams. Owning and managing key client executive relationships, and serving as a trusted advisor, credible thought leader, and go-to source on all matters of program structure, organization, and operation and collaborating with client executives to understand their vision, needs, and organizational capability and capacity to design for success also fall in the scope. You will partner with Oracle Cerner Federal and Corporate executive colleagues to support individual, business unit, and enterprise progress and goal attainment and offer subject matter knowledge, thought leadership, and best practices related to the domains of organizational change management, learning, human capital, strategic communications, value realization, and data-driven continuous improvement. You will lead Organization Optimization go-to-market offerings and new client business development and support expansion within the current client portfolio, including contract creation, approval, and management.
At least 14 years of total combined higher education and related work experience, including:
10 years of relevant experience in a consulting or demonstrated consulting capacity
At least 4 years total combined higher education or related work experience
Graduate degree in business, healthcare, government, organizational development, or related field
10+ years leading large teams and a portfolio of projects to undertake enterprise-wide technology and business transformation efforts
5+ years of healthcare industry experience
2+ years of experience working in or with federal agencies to advance enterprise-level strategies and initiatives
Experience building relationships with clients, vendors, and teaming partners
Experience fostering collaborative teams, attracting talent, and motivating staff, and supporting career growth for individuals
Strong project management experience, including budget oversight, resourcing, and reporting
Experience mentoring and developing junior members of the team; experience in employee performance reviews
Currently resides in a virtually approved city
Ability to travel up to 30%
Demonstrated interest in a profession in organizational change management work through professional organizations, coursework, certifications, conference attendance, etc.
Working knowledge and experience of MS Office applications and training development tools
Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
Demonstrated ability in effectively establishing, selling, and communicating a vision
