JOB TITLE: Senior Infrastructure Engineer
JOB LOCATION: Burlington, Massachusetts 01803
REQUIRED TRAVEL: No Travel Required
REPORTS TO: Senior Manager, Infrastructure Datacenter
REQUIRED HOURS: Full-time; FLEXIBILITY TO PROVIDE AFTER-HOURS SUPPORT ON ROTATIONAL BASIS
REQUIRED DUTIES:
Design and deliver hybrid cloud automation services to all HealthEdge customers and internal departments
Effectively troubleshoot and help solve complex problems using knowledge of specific technologies or products
Proactively identify, recommend, and implement improvements to current processes and challenges faced
Consistently participate in strategic planning
Train junior team members and peers on technology and process matters
Perform all job functions consistent with HealthEdge policies and procedures, including those which govern handling PHI and PII
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, or a closely related field (foreign equivalent is acceptable) plus 5years of employment experience.
Employment experience must include:
A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated employment experience managing and maintaining enterprise hybrid VMWare environments, including experience working with VMWare vRealize Automation, VMWare vRealize Orchestrator, VMWare vRealize Operations Manager
A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated employment experience on IT Automation with VMWare Automation and Orchestration products and automation toolsets such as Ansible, PowerShell, Python, or other IT Automation Tools
A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated employment experience designing, deploying, and troubleshooting client Windows and Linux-based servers using VMWare and public cloud virtualization technology
A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated employment experience in management and deployment of 3 rd party software platforms and solutions
A minimum of 1 year of demonstrated employment experience working in AWS and/or Azure public cloud, hyperconverged hardware, VMWare VSAN, Pure Storage, and Dell and Lenovo Server Infrastructure
A minimum of 1 year of demonstrated employment experience leading a team of 10+ individuals in execution of strategic objectives and plans as well as running and maintaining operations for 3000+ servers
A minimum of 1 year of demonstrated employment experience in PowerShell
A minimum of 1 year of demonstrated employment experience doing capacity planning and managing a system life cycle
