Oracle Senior Systems Analyst in Helena, Montana

Job Description

US citizenship on US soil required.

Building off our Cloud momentum, Oracle has formed a new organization - Oracle Health Applications & Infrastructure (OHAI). This team will focus on product development and product strategy for Oracle Health, while building out a complete platform supporting modernized, automated healthcare. This is a net new line of business, constructed with an entrepreneurial spirit that promotes an energetic and creative environment. We are unencumbered and will need your contribution to make it a world class engineering center with the focus on excellence.

As a Senior System Architect/Team Lead, you will be responsible for determining systems architectural strategy, support strategies, and developing techniques to improve system performance. You will implement and maintain technical architectures, frameworks, and enhancements while managing the relationship with support teams and acting as a point of contact for support escalations. You will diagnose, analyze, and troubleshoot complex technical problems to resolve issues. Finally, you will mentor and lead junior members of the team. We are looking for someone who thrives on working with large-scale, distributed systems and is always looking for ways to automate manual tasks.

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least four years of combined related work experience and completed higher education

  • At least two years of system engineering, infrastructure or system architecture work experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering, or extensive work experience in these fields

  • Eligible to receive an appropriate U.S. Government security clearance applicable for your position

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing production systems running Windows Server OS, Active Directory, Group Policy

  • Experience managing production systems running Linux or UNIX

  • Experience with Citrix deployment and administration

  • Experience with infrastructure technologies including networking, firewalls, load balancers, virtualization, storage and data protection.

  • Experience with monitoring, management and observation toolsets.

  • Experience with IBM WebSphere

  • Experience working in highly collaborative work environments, leading a team, and mentoring junior employees

Expectations:

  • Willing to travel up to 10% as needed

  • Willing to work shift hours and additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations

  • Work under corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within the scope of the position

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the United States only

Hiring Range: from $31.97 to $67.93 per hour; from $66,500 to $141,300 per annum. May be eligible for equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
