Change Healthcare Software Development Engineer in Test III in Helena, Montana

Software Development Engineer in Test IIIWhat will I be responsible for in this job? (brief summary of the role)

  • Setting up, maintaining, and test automation frameworks on multiple application platforms, such as Desktop, and Web, and building test scenarios.

  • Conduct automation test runs for functional and regression testing.

  • Participate in code coverage/test coverage analysis to increase test coverage

  • Participate in performance testing.

  • Understanding the flow of code and how it interacts with different components.

  • Understanding project documents, customer demands, and product objectives to create and execute test cases.

  • Investigating customer problems referred to you by the technical support team, testing bugs, and creating and managing bug reports.

  • Handling technical communications and understanding the customers' needs.

  • Working with deployments teams, resolving level issues for systems, coordinating on product design, and offering inputs on the testability of functional elements and product designs.

  • Noting all testing actions you have performed in daily and weekly reports.

  • Researching test tools, methodologies, and trends and upgrading existing practices and processes.

  • Lead and coordinate testing efforts

  • Define and own the QA processes and strategies in an Agile development environment.

What are the requirements?

Years of experience: 10+4+ years of experience in creating robust, reusable test automation solutions.4+ years of experience working on software quality environmentsEducation:Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent

What critical skills are needed for you to consider someone for this position?

  • Experience in working with Testing tools such as SoapUI, Postman.

  • Proficiency in databases such oracle, PLSQL, mySQL.

  • Proficiency in writing code for automation using Java is a must.

  • Configuration Management Tool experience in Git and GitHub.

  • Experience with TestNG framework, Gradle/Maven.

  • Well versed in Page Object model and Data Driven framework.

  • Experience with testing RESTful web services.

  • Experience writing Automation Framework

  • Proven experience with APIs and Cloud services like AWS automation testing.

  • Experience with building CI automation pipelines using Jenkins and Docker.

  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

  • Experience with performance, resiliency and/or security testing is a plus

  • Proficient in Testing Lifecycle, Testing Expertise, Testing Techniques, Testing Management, Architecture Knowledge, Technical Solution Design and Quality Management.

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?

  • Familiarity with cloud test execution platforms.

  • Experience in healthcare print domain preferred.

  • Experience with system reliability, objective quality results and quality metrics.

  • Experience with Test Driven Development, Behavior Driven Development and Exploratory testing
