Job Summary

Under minimal supervision provides business process and technical leadership for portfolio of construction and safety- based information technology applications. Collaborates with internal users and business stakeholders to facilitate an understanding of current capabilities, needs and areas of improvement. Acts as support and training liaison for critical technology applications. Works with industry consultants to understand opportunities for improvement within portfolio and best practices within the construction and safety industry. Reports to the CIO Construction and Safety Applications Portfolio Manager. #LI-NK1

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with consultants to understand leading-industry applications, processes and technologies that would facilitate opportunities for improvement, automation and digital transformation

  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with business subject matter experts to understand business processes

  • Research and recommend solutions that best meet requirements defined by the business and conform within corporate standards

  • Lead project team users through CIO Procurement and review board processes to help stand up software and integrations.

  • Communicates regularly with Product Owner and/or business liaisons to coordinate timelines, enhancements, gaps, issues, etc.

  • Lead and document requirements gathering for software and integrations using SPLC templates.

  • Participate in cross departmental teams responsible for collecting information on business cases, gap analyses and return on investment analysis

  • Collaborate with 3rd party service providers on initiatives and addresses technology issues

  • Provide application support and training for construction and safety related tools and processes Facilitate the implementation of existing IT tools currently in use

  • Able to produce documentation and reports of industry best practices and participate in conferences such as Construction Industry Institute (CII) projects.

  • Provide mentoring, feedback and training to other Support and Business Analysts.

  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities and efficiently working to prioritize and cater to the requests from key stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in computer science or related field OR equivalent work experience.

  • In addition to the education requirements, four to six years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) industry

  • 4-6 years’ experience in related technology industry

  • Construction on-site/field experience

  • Familiar with OSHA and construction safety practices

  • Software Support experience

  • Business Analyst experience

  • Previous experience with Construction Time & Attendance or Document Control Processes and Procedures

  • Familiar with Agile project management
