Oracle Solution Advisor II in Helena, Montana

Job Description

Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.

As a Staff Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate Oracle product's strengths, features, benefits, and competitive advantages. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures.3 - 5 years business experience preferred; vendor experience also preferred. 3 years relevant computer applications or database/tools preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in one multi-user operating system. Knowledge of system and application design preferred. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel as needed. BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

As an Solution Advisor II, you will provide in-depth solution feature and functionality knowledge during the sales, project kickoff, and post sales process and serve as the domain and industry expert for all revenue cycle solutions, inclusive of scheduling, registration, practice management, case management, HIM and coding, patient accounting, contract management, contract modeling and VBR. You will leverage your experience to present client scripted and unscripted solution presentations, demonstrating knowledge of solution's best practice workflow, future state with Oracle Cerner and specific features and functionalities; develop and apply knowledge of industry intelligence and trends; and clearly articulate and promote Oracle Cerner 's revenue cycle strategy and competitive advantage during solution demonstrations. You will also have an opportunity to promote Oracle Cerner solutions at industry events, trade shows, regional client meetings and Oracle Cerner 's annual health conference meeting; and participate in the bid submission or proposal process by reviewing responses and sharing key proposal feedback with solution presenters.

This role works closely with sales, IP and model, to ensure the strategy for the client is appropriate for their goals, showing the latest innovations that are being developed, and enforcing our changes to support model best practices.

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 6 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:

  • At least 1 year sales, licensed health care practice, healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting and/or other client-facing or HCIT solution work experience

  • At least 5 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Clinical Studies, Health Care, Health Care Administration, Nursing, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience

  • Prior sales or demonstration experience

  • At least 1 year Oracle Cerner Revenue Cycle experience

Expectations

  • Willing to travel up to 60% as needed

  • Live within 60 miles of a Oracle Oracle Cerner virtually approved location or in the Kansas City metro area

  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned

  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations

  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
