Red River Solutions Architect (Managed Services) in Helena, Montana

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Support Specialist to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to support the sales effort by providing operational and technical expertise specific to managed services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of how managed services are delivered across multiple service towers, familiarity with tools and telemetry used in managed services, and proficiency in iTSM platforms like ServiceNow and other CRM systems. Strong Excel spreadsheet skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managed Services Expertise: Possess in-depth knowledge of managed services delivery across various service towers and demonstrate expertise in operational and technical aspects specific to managed services.

  • Operational Support: Provide operational and technical support to the sales team, assisting in solution development and evaluating proposed solutions. Identify and assess risks, working collaboratively with technical writers to create specialized, in-depth content.

  • Communication: Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders at Red River and potential customers. Clearly articulate technical concepts and solutions, ensuring a comprehensive understanding by all parties involved.

  • Project Management: Manage and support new business engagements, demonstrating strong project management skills. Coordinate and prioritize multiple new business initiatives simultaneously, ensuring efficient handling of proposal schedules and deliverables.

  • Tool Familiarity: Be familiar with tools and telemetry used in managed services, utilizing this knowledge to enhance operational efficiency and contribute to solution development.

  • iTSM Platforms and CRM Systems: Proficiently navigate iTSM platforms like ServiceNow and other CRM systems. Utilize these platforms to streamline processes, manage customer interactions, and optimize service delivery.

  • Excel Proficiency: Exhibit strong Excel spreadsheet skills, enabling effective data analysis and presentation. Utilize Excel to create reports, analyze trends, and support decision-making processes.

  • Collaboration: Collaborate with various teams within the organization, including account management, service desk technicians, field support, escalation teams, subject matter experts, governance, operations management, and service delivery management.

  • Customer Experience: Uphold and enhance the customer experience by adhering to SLAs (Service Level Agreements) and ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient managed services delivery.


  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent work experience.

  • 5-7 years of experience

  • Proven experience in providing technical support for managed services.

  • Strong knowledge of managed services delivery across multiple service towers.

  • Familiarity with iTSM platforms such as ServiceNow and other CRM systems.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proven experience in managing projects and delivering high-quality results within deadlines.
