Summary:

Meta's Reality Labs' division is a rapidly growing business unit dedicated to building the metaverse and computing platforms of the future. The Global Sourcing team is essential to enabling our internal hardware development and operations. We pride ourselves on sourcing and managing suppliers who can bring best-in-class capabilities that help our stakeholders research, develop, and ship cutting edge technologies. We are a fast-paced, customer-focused Sourcing organization who prioritize maximizing value and working collaboratively with our stakeholders and suppliers in a win-win fashion.

Required Skills:

  1. Identify, develop and deploy best practice supplier management, sourcing, and category management practices including responsibility for the development and maintenance of Sub-Category plans in alignment with business units

  2. Analyze spend data, internal requirements, and external supply markets to develop strategic sourcing strategies and plans aligned with the business goals

  3. Manage complex sourcing projects (i.e. eRFx) and lead contract negotiations that optimize value to the company

  4. Negotiate and manage a wide variety of contracts for any of several service categories (i.e. Engineering Services, Outsourced Operations, Data Collection, Quality Assurance, Consultancies)

  5. Develop strong collaborative relationships with key business partners and cross functional teams to strategically manage spend and establish a preferred supplier program to channel spend appropriately

  6. Serve as "Account Manager” interfacing with the business units at an executive level to understand budgets and business roadmaps

  7. Act as sourcing subject matter expert in consulting with the business on sourcing strategies, processes, policies, and best practices

  8. Develop strong partnerships with Procurement Operations, Accounts Payable, Finance, Contingent Workforce and Legal teams

  9. Lead process-improvement projects to streamline Source-to-Pay processes

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, supply chain, procurement, management or related field

  2. 5+ years of experience in Sourcing or Procurement with indirect categories

  3. 3+ years of experience in category management developing and implementing indirect services category plans

  4. Experience managing global contract documents through execution

  5. Experience in taking large quantities of data, performing analysis and making succinct recommendations on sourcing opportunities

  6. Influencing and changing management experience with experience managing multiple priorities

  7. Experience implementing strategic sourcing and process improvement initiatives

  8. Experience in planning sourcing, negotiating, contracting and supplier management

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Master's degree in business, finance, accounting, supply chain, procurement, management or related field

  2. Direct experience Sourcing for Engineering services on behalf of consumer hardware businesses
