Change Healthcare Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst in Helena, Montana

Sr. Business Intelligence AnalystThe Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst will use support the Government Services organization through the use of advanced data analysis techniques, applying expert-level healthcare domain knowledge to guide data driven business decisions. The candidate must have exceptional analytical skills as it is expected that individual will be able to assist the Insights and Analytics team in resolving complex analytics assignments and projects. The ability to work independently, lead projects involving multiple resources, and prioritize competing demands is critical. The candidate must have the ability to communicate complex concepts and insights gleaned from analytics efforts to both internal and external executives as well as all levels of client and internal teams. Knowledge of the healthcare industry, business applications, and supported systems are required.

PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform hands-on work with data analysis

  • Evaluating analytical results and determine how to appropriately communicate the story the data is telling is, data visualization, data validation and quality assurance.

  • Build in-depth knowledge of existing data structures and the related business processes to provide meaningful insights and analytics

  • Ensure delivery of effective reporting and data insights to stakeholders

  • Help drive the advancement of improved efficiency and effectiveness of Change Healthcare’s Government Services reporting, analysis, and algorithms

  • Identify opportunities to apply advanced analytics including predictive analytics, business intelligence and cognitive computing solutions to define new products and approaches to operational issues

How will you do it:

  • Outstanding problem-solving skills as well as the ability to assist others in problem solving

  • 5 or more years of professional experience in business analytics

  • Acquired knowledge of business applications and concepts

  • Hands-on experience with modern integrated data analytic solutions

  • Ability to multi-task and effectively adapt/work under deadlines

  • Ability to translate data into meaningful information into report or presentation formats

  • Strong data visualizations skills with TIBCO Spotfire/Tableau/Excel/line charts, dashboards with drilldown etc.

  • Experience working in a highly regulated environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skill

  • Excellent team-player and ability to work independently

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical field is desired. The equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Colorado Residents Only:

The base pay range for Colorado residents is $80,465.00 - $165,165.00 plus any relevant incentive pay programs that may be aligned to the role. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your base pay, Change Healthcare offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: Health, dental and vision plans; wellness program; health savings account; flexible spending accounts; 401(k) retirement plan; life insurance; short-term and long-term disability insurance; Employee Assistance Program; PTO; tuition reimbursement; and employee-paid critical illness and accident insurance.
