U.S. Bank is seeking a Senior Systems Infrastructure Architect with distributed systems and infrastructure experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives. Leads the planning of enterprise-wide infrastructure directions based on market developments and enterprise vision. Establishes and advances strategic direction of corporate IT systems infrastructure. Leads the definition of hardware platform and technologies established as corporate standards and to be used within specific initiatives. Works with vendors on solutions to minimize cost of ownership to the enterprise. Provides regular status reports on monthly project volume. Forecasts upcoming PC, server, and storage purchases. Works with implementation and support teams in determining technological improvements to increase implementation efficiency. Assists clients in clearly defining requirements and builds technical designs using existing standards. Develops a strong understanding of technology and utilization trends in determining future directions. Works with business lines and IT core services initiatives in the design of distributed systems infrastructure; including servers, storage, and workstations, to meet business goals and remain financially responsible to the enterprise.

-Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
-At least 1 year advanced server systems administration on one or multiple platforms. Server systems specification and design, implementation and support.
8+ years of professional mainframe database (Db2 or IMS) infrastructure experience with emphasis on installation, customization and optimization of Db2 for z/OS or IMS subsystems.
6+ years of professional mainframe operation system (z/OS) experience including SMPE and USS.
6+ years of experience with mainframe monitoring tools such as Mainview or Omegamon.
Experience with REXX, Python, Linux, Java, and SAS a plus
Experience in software development lifecycle on z/OS based platforms preferred.

Salary range reflected is an estimate of base pay and is for the primary location. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $108,545.00 - $127,700.00 - $140,470.00
