Teradata Sr Manager, Marketing Strategy and Operations in Helena, Montana

What You'll Do

The Sr. Manager, Marketing Strategy and Operations, is an individual contributor position responsible for providing operational structure and governance to the internal operating rhythm for the marketing organization. This role will be part of the Program Management team within Marketing and will ensure we are executing against our strategic goals and priorities. Additionally, this role will be responsible for our internal programs and related communications for building highly efficient performing teams.

This role requires strong organization and strategic planning skills. The role also requires experience in managing multi-faceted projects, from conception through completion.

This is a 100% remote role in the US.

  • Partner with program stakeholders to understand the strategic discipline’s goals/requirements, developing effective working relationships and on-going management of the Marketing vision and roadmap.

  • Manage the day-to-day execution for Program Management, for the Marketing organization which includes the integrated Annual Planning processes, quarterly goal reviews and associated dashboards preparation for executive level meetings.

  • Supports the governance of the Diamond teams, and closely collaborates with these cross-functional teams and key stakeholders on operational effectiveness.

  • Identify cross-project interdependencies, risks and business change impacts across Marketing.

  • Anticipate and solve potential roadblocks associated with prioritization and resourcing contention.

  • Execute against engagement results by maintaining communication channels, supporting virtual series and events for the greater marketing organization.

  • Assist in the preparation of talking points for the CMO to leverage for podcasts, panels, interviews, conference speaking engagements and other external commitments.

  • Anticipate and solve potential roadblocks associated with prioritization and resourcing contention.

  • Maintain communications and collaboration platform (Trello), work documents, project plan, and other documents relative to project/program

  • Structure and organize related meetings that support the execution of the operating rhythm, such as bi-weekly Marketing Leadership Team meetings, quarterly All-Hands Meetings, Marketing QBRs, supporting CMO presentation development for company meetings and other meetings as needed, and offsite Leadership Team retreats and other ad hoc meetings.

What Makes You a Qualified Candidate

  • 6 years of relevant experience managing operational and strategic initiatives for an organization, using data and analytics to influence decision-making.

  • Experience working within a Consulting or Advisory organization.

  • Bachelor’s degree or 5-7 years minimum work experience 5-7 years in consulting, strategic management or related field experience.
