Sr Principal Network Architect

Role Overview:

Reporting to Sr. Director Tech Ops, the Principal Network Architect is a Lead Network Architect for assigned Network domain will develop strategy and collaborate in the overall development of Skyhigh Security’s Network solutions, partnering with network engineering, deployment, Ops and Security, along with other infrastructure teams including but not limited to Cloud. This position delivers on Major initiatives including Software Defined Datacenter, Multi-cloud Network Architecture and overall Network strategy execution to enable cloud networking, SDWAN and SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) architecture, etc.

  • Develop the most advanced designs centering on strategic interfaces or application accommodations of critical importance to Skyhigh Security

  • Work on extremely complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of identifiable or intangible variables

  • Build network designs that support innovative application features involving multiple organizations and lines of business, enabling visible competitive advantage to Skyhigh Security’s product offerings

  • Accommodate emergent business technical requirements into network design requirements

  • Act as a subject matter expert in multiple network/telephony/ converged technology areas

  • Establish network design and prototype evaluation criteria and processes

  • Educate senior management, technical and non-technical audiences on network designs and their implications for operations or the business

  • Resolve technological issues related to the AOR architectures (e.g., security, technical due diligence, partner relations)

  • Mitigate technological issues in the best interest of Skyhigh Security’s business objectives

  • Initiate, develop, and drive the adoption of product and process improvements

  • Document and communicate objectives, requirements, and designs to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Review and provide quality assurance on all proposed designs within owned and related architectures for quality and adherence to the Architectural Design context.
