Global Operations' focus is on improving the health of our products and helping people understand how to use them through both direct support interactions as well as scalable solutions. We need influencers who can align cross-functional partners to ensure the best possible experience for our platforms. Scaled Operations (within Global Operations) manages the human expertise required for the integrity and experience of our community and business. Facebook is looking for a motivated, experienced and entrepreneurial leader to join our Scaled Ops, Technology, Analytics and Reporting (STAR) team. STAR is focused on surfacing strategic opportunities, and building the technology and analytics solutions that support Facebook’s partner workforce. We’re looking for a motivated, experienced and entrepreneurial Program Manager to join our growing, global team. This is a pivotal role to drive the vision, strategy, and architecture that influences and enables FB operations product/technology and analytics transformations.

Required Skills:

  1. Deeply understand the architecture and integration points of Facebook's processes, products, and policies

  2. Drive vision, strategy, business/technology architecture and roadmap to Influence FB product roadmaps for Operations

  3. Use problem solving skills to analyze large and complex business problems and provide recommendations for technology improvements

  4. Drive projects from abstract ideation through proof-of-concept, creating concrete execution plans

  5. Seek and build partnerships. Act as a consultative and strategic partner cross-functional teams from business, engineering, process and product teams to build/improve the technology experience on our existing suite of products

  6. Define, build and track key performance metrics to measure success and identify and iterate on opportunities for optimization

  7. Drive internal process improvements across multiple teams and functions

  8. Provide impactful insights into the company’s strategic direction

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 6+ years of experience in program management or consulting, leading large scale data analytics and/or technology transformations from concept through implementation

  2. Communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with a history of delivering executive-level presentations

  3. Strategic thinker with analytical and problem-solving experience, conducting analyses, identifying insights and communicating results to inform business decisions

  4. Track record of leading multiple teams and influencing stakeholders without authority, demonstrating creativity, detail-orientation, and delivering results with execution rigor

  5. Experience in fostering new cross-functional working partnerships with business, engineering, and product teams, advocating for new technology & analytics solutions to influence cross-functional roadmaps

  6. Capacity to thrive when faced with ambiguous problems and capable of leading complex projects with autonomy

  7. Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in computer science, information systems or other related fields

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience working in a technology company or consulting firm

  2. Experience using querying and programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R

  3. Knowledge of functional areas like customer support, vendor support, UI/UX, or engineering
