Job Description

U.S. Bank Technology and Operations Services (TOS) is seeking a highly motivated SOX/SOC Coordinator.

The TOS SOX/SOC Coordinators serve as liaisons between the TOS business line and various internal and external auditing and risk management stakeholders.

The position will be responsible for various Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and Service Organization Controls (SOC) activities with a focus on SOC oversight and coordination.

Partners with their assigned Line of Business, other Risk/Compliance/Audit (RCA) professionals, and RCA Managers to, depending on their function, create, implement, maintain, review or oversee an effective risk management framework. Participates in projects and/or activities that ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Identifies gaps and inform solutions that minimize losses resulting from inadequate internal processes, systems or human errors. Identifies, responds and/or escalates risks as appropriate. Serves as a functional liaison between the Line of Business and the Lines of Defense.

Responsibilities will include :

  • Coordination of changes to SOX and SOC controls, processes, risks, including maintenance of systems of record and communication to applicable internal and external stakeholders

  • Determining and implementing opportunities for improvement of the TOS SOX/SOC Program

  • Assist business process owners in designing strong, sustainable controls

  • Identify control gaps in SOX processes and provide remediation advise risk managers and process owners

  • Serve as tech subject matter expert to business areas

  • Operate independently and perform quality work within the scheduled timeframe.

  • Prepare clear, organized and complete documentation to support work performed.

  • Develop and maintain strong and effective working relationships with key business partners

  • Proactively engage and follow up to ensure deliverables are met, and identified gaps have been communicated

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Seven to ten years of applicable experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Two or more years working with IT general controls and/or Information Security risks/controls

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and negotiation skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Thorough knowledge of IT Risk/Compliance/Audit competencies and IT General Controls

  • Thorough knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and Service Organization Controls (SOC)

  • Build and maintain strong relationship with internal and external business partners

  • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Office and Archer eGRC

  • Applicable professional certifications preferred including CIA, CPA, CISA, CISSP, Cloud Audit

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a complex environment

  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail

Salary range reflected is an estimate of base pay and is for the primary location. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $95,540.00 - $112,400.00 - $123,640.00
