About the role:

Provide management of real estate transaction activities for a defined portfolio of properties on behalf of our clients. Prepares, recommends, and implements a transaction strategy for acquiring and disposing of real estate properties. Leads field resources and other partners in the execution of lease renewals, new site acquisitions, disposition of surplus space through subleasing, sale renewals, early lease termination, and more.

What You'll Do:

  • Market research, survey preparation and review, and other tasks related to site searches.

  • Transaction management related to various locations in the portfolio.

  • Preparation of term sheets, including Sysco-specific provisions, to facilitate the exchange of proposals and counteroffers.

  • Financial analysis including rent schedules, NPV calculations and other analyses related to comparison of lease proposals and associated economics.

  • Management of critical dates using CBRE’s lease admin system and collaborating with the lease admin team to provide regular reporting to Sysco and the various business units.

  • Periodic auditing of Tenant Improvement Allowance usage on existing leases

  • Establish periodic, scheduled meetings with business units to review and strategize their real estate portfolios.

What You'll Need:

  • Strong critical thinking skills

  • Ability to analyze situation or problem and proactively come up with solutions.

  • Needs to be adaptive and able to work with various groups (Legal, Construction, Finance, Operations, etc.)

  • 1-3 years of commercial real estate experience, industrial experience preferred.

  • 1-3 years of experience in a large corporate environment preferred.

  • Strong excel skills, or ability to quickly learn excel at a sophisticated level.

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the position is $110,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $125,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
