What You Will Do :
Summarize valuation output and provide written products of various types, including tables, charts, short summaries, as well as longer analytical memos and model documentation
Draft reports on various economic and financial topics for internal and external audiences
What You Will Need :
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, mathematics, statistics or in a related field
5+ years of valuation experience with industry-recognized valuation models including independent model preparation, processing, analysis, and communication of results
Significant knowledge of Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) approaches used in valuation, cash flow engines and liquidity management, business valuations, real estate valuations and fair value measurements of purchase consideration
Expertise with fair valuation of financial securities and other contracts (e.g. vehicle/aircraft leasing/purchases, marketing agreements, publishing contracts, etc.)
Ability to model cashflows for structured products, conduct asset valuations and build complex forecasting models
Experience with term structure modeling, OAS valuation and relative value analysis
Understanding of fixed income cash flow modeling and valuation concepts and excellent knowledge of fixed income products such as securities, loans, or receivables) or liabilities as well as contracts, such as swap, forward and repurchase agreements, in accordance with Financial Accounting Standard Board’s (FASB’s) Accounting Standards Codification (ASC)
Proficiency in SQL, Visual Basic Programming/Scripting, and Excel-based Macros, and in at least one other statistical analytic tool such as SAS, R, Phyton or MATLAB
Ability to work within a team with varying skill and knowledge levels
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines
What Would Be Nice To Have :
Advanced degree and/or CPA
Experience in vendor models and trading platforms such as Bloomberg, Reuters, or TradeWeb
The annual salary range for this position is $85,600.00-$171,200.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
