Facebook is looking for a Workflow Risk Project Manager to sit under the Community Operations division, supporting the Product Support Operations organization. This person will partner closely with product managers, engineering managers, operations leads, policy, privacy, and legal experts to assess new initiatives, improve existing projects, and increase cross-company consistency from a risk management perspective. The Project Manager will review projects related to integrity or product development to assess risk from a policy, privacy, and legal perspective. This role requires exceptional collaboration and communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a high tolerance for ambiguity and change.
Develop understanding of internal policies, risk mitigation strategies, and best practices related to content across Facebook products
Develop frameworks to minimize risk and identify new risk patterns and operationalize solutions
Create operational procedures and best practices to ensure quality and consistency with new or existing product launches and workflow reviews
Cultivate relationships with cross-functional partners in Policy, Legal, Privacy, and Security teams and collaborate with them to solve challenging problems
Project manage and prioritize work based on urgency and complexity
Drive efficiencies in team processes and daily execution
Provide risk management guidance to cross-functional business partners early on in the product launches process
Educate internal stakeholders on processes and best practices
5+ years of industry experience in a consumer-oriented product environment, consulting, risk management, project management, or operations role
Experience providing detailed review and editing of documentation
Experience streamlining complex processes and implementing strategic process improvement solutions to drive efficiency
Experience with balancing multiple, competing priorities with a high sense of urgency
Experience creating or editing process or training documentation
Experience building and managing relationships with diverse stakeholders
Experience creating reporting and managing operational metrics
Experience in risk management, including policy, privacy, legal, infosec, or third party risk knowledge
Experience working in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change quickly
