GENERAL OVERVIEW:

As part of the IT Service Management team, this associate analyst will function as a team member of the IT Service Management department within the Enterprise Data Center Cloud Operations Division. This role will ensure proper governance and related improvements to ensure the quality of services delivered to our customers and partners. This individual must work in accordance with defined IT Service Management standards and best practices. This role will support the payer and clinical businesses in the change enablement and service level management processes.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for assisting with process design and continual service improvement.

  • Interfaces with the business areas, customers, partners, vendors, technical staff and project teams to drive value, return on investments and innovative solutions

  • Coordination of changes and ensuring compliance with specified change/release management windows.

  • Plays the role of change agent/champion in support of the process.

  • Assisting with the Service Level Management process via fulfilling requests.

  • Creation of reports in support of the change management process.

  • Monitor change data throughout the lifecycle of the changes.

  • Ensures compliance with the change enablement and service level management processes as defined in standards and procedures.

  • Manages the ITSM tool change record queues to ensure timely turnaround and analysis of change records.

  • Provides the initial acceptance of change records ensuring appropriate classification relative to scope, urgency, and priority.

  • Consults with users of the ITSM Change Management module or the change management process.

  • Other duties as assigned or requested.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 0-1 year experience in Information Technology

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field.

  • 3 years of relevant experience

  • Understanding of ITIL Methodologies and Principals.

  • ITIL v4 Foundations Certification

Skills:

  • Customer Service Orientation.

  • SharePoint or Excel skills

  • Continual Service Improvement

  • Good analytical skills – problem solving

  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated.

  • Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills

  • Commitment to continuous learning

  • Positive customer orientation

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate on teams

  • Word, Powerpoint, Tableau, and Visio skills.
