Healthfirst HIE Developer Lead in Home Office, Montana
The HIE Developer Lead will be responsible for giving direction to the development team and analyze, design, implement and test customized software applications. The HIE Developer Lead will have a strong knowledge of software development and design and will have experience working to develop business-critical applications.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide general assistance, guidance, and direction to the development team
Fosters a team approach to software development and delivery
Participates in developing specifications such as user stories and designs
Solves or recommends solutions for complex issues and problems
Designs, develops, and maintains complex applications
Develops unit tests and provides code coverage to accurately test business logic and functionality
Assist in the development of logical and physical specifications
Documents designs, issues, solutions, tips & tricks as needed
Stays current in new IT technologies to maintain a high level of subject matter expertise.
High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution.
Experience building interfaces, services, or APIs such as REST/SOAP, JSON, XML
Experience with Health Information Exchanges (HIEs) or Electronic Medical Records (EMRs).
Experience with InterSystems HealthShare, Ensemble, and Cache ObjectScript.
Experience with HL7 V2, CDA, FHIR
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
Experience with object-oriented design and development.
Experience writing moderate/complex SQL for report generation
Experience with Agile Development processes
Experience with continuous integration & delivery processes.
Experience working with remote and offshore resources.
