Healthfirst Sr. Qlik Sense Developer -100% Remote in Home Office, Montana

The Senior App Developer designs and develops programs/processes that automate specific business processes by working with various business units/departments to satisfy their requirements. Specifically, this role will be responsible for serving as a QlikView/QlikSense developer comfortable with the creation of Extract and Transform multi-layered backend data model as well as front end dashboard or a report using Qlik technology platform (or similar) which includes QlikView, Qlik Sense and Nprinting. The candidate should have good capability to develop complex healthcare related applications and NP reports. Meanwhile, the developer should have ability to customize scramble method for different QS applications.

PROGRAM ANALYSIS

  • Consult with clients to analyze and understand functions to be automated, client needs, objectives, desired features, and input and output requirements.

  • Analyze, define, and document system requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks and controls, and outputs.

  • Carry out data preparation in upstream data sources as required

  • Analyze and estimate feasibility, time, compatibility with other systems, and computer capabilities.

  • Analyze, assist installs, and test upgrades of internally/externally developed application programs.

PROGRAM DESIGN

  • Develop and maintain plans outlining steps and timetables for developing, testing, and installing applications.

  • Design and code screen layouts, graphical user interfaces, printed outputs, and interfaces with other systems.

  • Demonstrate expertise in one or many of Healthfirst's programming languages.

  • Provide input on proposing, evaluating, and selecting appropriate design alternatives which meet client requirements and are consistent with client's current standards and processes

  • Interact with client stakeholders (if required) for any clarifications required during the development stage

CONVERSION AND DOCUMENTATION

  • Write and maintain functional and technical specifications. Convert designs and specifications into computer code.

  • Write and maintain documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections.

  • Write documentation or review documentation written by others which describes installation and operating procedures.

  • Use VersionOne wisely for Agile project management

TEST

  • Create test scenarios and work with QA team to run test to find errors and confirm program meets specifications.

  • Analyze codes to find causes of errors and revise programs.

  • Consult with clients to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to attain client approval.

  • Analyze, assist installs, and test upgrades of internally/externally developed application programs.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT

  • Provides technical assistance by responding to inquiries regarding errors, problems, or questions with program.

  • Train end users or technical support staff to use programs.

  • Monitor performance of programs after implementation.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Overall, 5-8 years of experience working on BI tools

  • Should have very good expertise in QlikView 12+, Qlik Sense August 2021 or higher, dashboard design and development, deployment/roll out. Minimum 5 years’ experience.

  • 2+ years’ experience on NPrinting 2019 or higher

  • Experienced in QlikView/ QlikSense QMC - Creating scheduled jobs for QVD extracts and report reloads

  • Experience with RDBMS like SQL Server/AWS PostgreSQL database to query, manipulate data

  • Extracting, transforming, and loading data from multiple sources into QlikView / Qlik Sense applications

  • Bachelor’s degree on Information System or Computer Science.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 years’ Healthcare industry working experience

  • Fiddler or Chrome developer tool experience

  • Familiar with QS Vizlib extension and Mashup

  • Good experience on using QlikView/Qlik Sense, server log, session log, audit log and document log for debugging.
