Job Description
Certified Nursing Assistant/CNA in Training
As a Certified Nursing Assistant, also known as a CNA, with Immanuel Lutheran Communities, you can make a difference as you work in an environment dedicated to helping our residents and their families. Purpose: To perform or oversee resident performance of personal care or assist residents to perform personal care, in accordance with Facility policies and procedures.
Position Duties for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA)
Accurately and safely perform resident care in accordance with residents’ care plan, resident Assignment Sheet and worksheets, and nurses’ instructions
Answer call lights in a timely manner
Pick up and maintain resident rooms in a neat and orderly condition
Assist residents to and from meals, meetings, and activities, as needed
Straighten and maintain department rooms and equipment storage areas in a neat and orderly condition
Requirements
Education and Experience
With current Montana CNA certification, must be in good standing to work as a CNA in Montana OR
Have a current Certified Nursing Assistant certification in another state AND be in the process of acquiring Montana certification within 30 days of transferring OR
Have successfully completed CNA certification training class and be waiting for a certification letter from the Montana Licensure Bureau.
Not yet certified? Immanuel offers Free Online CNA Education with our partner, Montana Health Network. Upon successful completion of an estimated 45 hours of education and completion of clinical coursework requirements, you may be employed as a CNA at Immanuel Lutheran Communities.
Must be current High School Student in good standing, graduate from High School or HiSet/GED.
