Kalispell Regional Healthcare Employee Relations Specialist - Human Resources in Kalispell, Montana
The Employee Relations Specialist provides HR related duties on a professional level and works closely with the Human Resource Business Partners (HRBP) in supporting the needs of Logan Health.
Serves as a liaison for HR, providing resources, promotion of information and other materials through internal/external communications, the WIRE (intranet), new hire orientation, etc.
At direction of HRBP, initiates investigations and provides guidance regarding issues such as; working conditions, corrective actions, harassment, and employee complaints.
Supports HR in conducting layoffs, grievance meetings, investigations, complaint resolutions, staff counseling, progressive corrective action activities, talent reviews and training.
Performs administrative duties of the HR department to include, but not limited to; corrective action review/tracking, unemployment response, grievance management, etc.
Responsible for and serves as a point person for the WIRE for the HR department.
Researches, collects, and compiles information from various sources for a variety of human resources areas.
Regularly interfaces with employees across the organization to administer key HR services.
Tracks trends and metrics in partnership with the HR team to develop solutions, improve efficiencies, and provide excellent customer service.

Minimum of one (1) of the following required:
Two (2) years’ Human Resources (HR) experience
Two (2) years’ experience working with complex and sensitive administrative support tasks.
Possess computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed. Proficiency in Excel required. HRIS experience preferred.
Possess knowledge and application of human resource practices, policies and procedures, compliance with employment regulations/laws and resolution of inquiries preferred.
Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
