Overview

  1. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.

  2. Ressuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) ResponderCPR certification successfully obtained within ninety (90) days of

  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.

  4. Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Word, Outlook, and ability to learn other software as needed.

  5. Experience with direct patient interaction preferred.

Responsibilities

  1. *Exhibits a passion for serving the needs of others. Explains examination procedures in a calm and reassuring way in order to provide a positive experience for the patient.

  2. *Performs arrival and/or end of day duties per department procedure and protocol.

  3. *Responsible for stocking assigned areas and assists with supply outdates.

  4. *Obtains current patient information, escorts patient to and from the designated exam area.

  5. *Assists with other administrative tasks as needed.

  6. *Assists with ordering, amending, and completing exams in the designated radiology information system.

  7. *Assists technologists with appropriate patient preparation related to the exam.

  8. *Prepares contrast injectors and performs injector disposal per department protocol.

  9. *Accurately reports all malfunctioning equipment and/or errors per department protocol. Documents safety related issues and outcomes.

  10. *Utilizes appropriate safety measures in the completion of all job duties.
