Job Summary:

Come join our diverse clinical team as a Licensed Addictions Counselor (LAC) in a thriving community behavioral health setting. We are seeking dedicated, creative LAC’s with a passionate focus on substance use disorder treatment, as well as co-occurring mental health disorders.

At WMMHC, our treatment is guided by a core philosophy: Treat to Outcome, which means that we are committed to positive treatment outcomes for our clients throughout the entire recovery process. We provide therapeutic services across the ASAM continuum of care, from in-patient and residential services to a variety of outpatient programs.

Grounded in the belief that positive outcomes are the result of whole-person care, our therapists work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary treatment team consisting of other clinicians, primary care doctors and nurses, medication management providers, care coordinators, treatment technicians, and aftercare specialists. This team approach provides clients with a breadth of services throughout their treatment experience, while also providing a cooperative and supportive environment for all team members. Our goal is always to provide the best possible behavioral health services to the community while creating a healthy, fulfilling, and enjoyable atmosphere for our staff.

Depending on program requirements, the WMMHC LAC may have the opportunity to work both in-person and remote positions. The LAC’s primary responsibilities may include diagnostic assessments, individual and group therapy, crisis counseling, treatment planning, progress monitoring, maintaining clinical documentation and coordinating with a variety of support services provided through WMMHC and other community partners.
