Job Description

As the Assistant for Sales and Marketing at Immanuel Lutheran Communities, you will play a vital role in our efforts to promote our community, engage with current and potential residents, and ensure the success of our marketing initiatives. You will be responsible for a diverse range of tasks, including but not limited to social media management, content creation, digital advertising, and administrative support.

Responsibilities include:

Social Media Management:

  • Develop and execute a social media strategy to promote our senior living community.

  • Create engaging and relevant content for various social media platforms.

  • Monitor and respond to online community interactions.

    Content Creation:

  • Write blog posts, newsletters, and other written content to showcase our community and address relevant topics.

  • Create video content to share residents' stories and showcase the lifestyle at our community.

    Digital Advertising:

  • Develop digital ad campaigns to target specific demographics and promote our services.

  • Monitor ad performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize results.

    Drip Campaign Creation/Management:

  • Design and implement email marketing drip campaigns to nurture leads and engage with potential residents.

    Data Entry and Administrative Support:

  • Assist with data entry, record keeping, and administrative tasks as needed.

  • Coordinate and collaborate on marketing events and initiatives.

  • Assist with new resident move-ins, prospect tours and event presentations.

    Technology Monitoring:

  • Stay up-to-date with marketing technology trends and tools.

  • Monitor and report on the performance of our marketing efforts using relevant analytics tools.


  • Previous experience in marketing, social media management, or content creation is preferred.

  • Proficiency in using marketing software, including social media management tools, email marketing/CRM platforms, and digital advertising platforms.

  • 2+ years relevant work experience in sales or marketing-related position

  • Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Canva is a plus

  • Experience with marketing automation

  • Experience with email-marketing platforms, managing Google Business accounts and business intelligence tools is a plus.

  • Strong writing and communication skills.

  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
