Kalispell Regional Healthcare Member Services Supervisor - Logan Health Medical Fitness Center in Kalispell, Montana


This position oversees the daily operations of the Front Desk and Member Services office and Summit member engagement programs and services.


  1. *Supervises front desk, member services and accounting operations. Responsible for scheduling assigned staff, ensuring appropriate levels of staffing for all shifts. Ensures staff maintains current certifications.

  2. *Assists leadership with the hiring process, preparation and delivery of evaluations and corrective action on assigned staff.

  3. *Serves as the contact person in regards to API timekeepingand processes time cards within required time frame.

  4. *Maintains a policy/procedure manual for Membership and Front Desk area. In collaboration with Leadership develops and maintains procedures and holds assigned staff accountable.

  5. *Serves as point of contact for member management software. Maintains working knowledge of club management software and other computer applications.Trains staff and introduces new applications as they become available. Assists with maintaining the SMFC website to ensure information is accurate and up to date.

  6. *Acts as point of contact for member mobile apps and project management platforms. Trains staff on platform applications and coordinates use of platforms throughout the facility.

  7. *Supports revenue generation and achievement of membership acquisition and retention goals. Oversees Summit member retention/engagement programs and coordinates member communications. Communications may include, but are not limited to; periodic newsletters, email blasts, letters and social media posts. Assists with developing and marketing membership specials.

  8. *Assists with handling and documenting member and customer complaints. Implements team building strategies for assigned staff and facilitate staff meetings per department protocol.

  9. *Maintains thorough knowledge of all Summit programs and services and effectively communicates this information to customers. Contacts potential members and markets facility and membership. Appropriately checks in customers to the facility and serves as a valuable resource for registration and information.

  10. *Provides facility tours and performs all necessary paperwork and data entry for new member sign-up and account maintenance.

  11. *Oversees Tennis Permanent Court Time reservations and policies.

  12. *Functions as facility supervisor as scheduled and/or requested. Opens and/or secures building according to Summit Policies. Ensures all facility policies and procedures are enforced and that patron needs are met.


  1. Associates or Bachelor’s degree in management, business, health and fitness or related field preferred. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.

  2. Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a front desk reception position with customer service in a health and fitness facility preferred.

  3. Minimum of one (1) years’ experience in a leadership position required.

  4. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and maintain cooperative relationships with co-workers, staff members and the public.

  5. HS AED CPR Certification must be successfully obtained within sixty (60) days of hire.

  6. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, required. Previous experience with marketing and sales preferred.

  7. Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn other software as needed. Club management software experience preferred.

  8. Must be detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess ability to set priorities and function as part of a team. Possess ability to use good judgment, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
